By this time a project to implement a common set of uniforms for the Colonial Police had reached maturity. However, not all of the colonial Forces adopted all of the uniforms. In this case the suggested pattern was taken on by the Fiji Police.

This Officer wears a drill covered Wolesley helmet with blue multi-fold puggaree.

His drill bush shirt has rolled sleeves and bears his rank badges on the shoulder straps. White metal buttons are used throughout.

Around the left shoulder is a blue lanyard.

His black leather Sam Browne has white metal fittings.

Drill shorts are worn with light khaki stockings and shoes.

Below is the parade uniform of a Sergeant of the Force.

The collarless jacket is piped red. His rank is shown by the chevrons and sash.

The cummerbund and sulu are standard.

At the bottom of the badge is a representation of the Force badge, on the left, and one of the Force buttons, on the right.
