This junior NCO wears standard 'Gurkha' style parade cap with yellow regimental badge on the front and pompom on top.

The serge jacket follows the distinctive Nepalese pattern with 'rifles' decorations, i.e. with black buttons and rank chevrons. The unit title is worn on the upper part of the sleeves with a formation badge.

1903 pattern waist belt and pouches are worn on parade.

His trousers are bloused over combat boots.

He is armed with a 7.62mm British/Indian version of the FN FAL rifle.

This is a parade uniform, but not worn on ceremonial duties, where the green uniform took precedence.
