This officer wears the traditional fez cap, with tassel falling down the right side.

His jacket is quite ‘French’ in appearance with its heavily braided front and elaborate cuff knots. The latter, with the gilt lace beneath, denote the individual’s rank. The chest braid appears to be a lighter colour than red but I cannot confirm the orange illustrated.

The flared breeches have a thin welt down the outer seams and are worn with riding boots.

Gloves and a European sword complete the uniform.
