The SCHP was formed in 1930 and continues to provide law enforcement in the community as part of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.

This motorcycle mounted officer wears a grey uniform, the first of the agency. The cap has a soft crown and black leather chinstrap and peak. The agency badge is attached to the front of the capband.

A shirt is worn as outerwear, although a grey jacket was also available. The neck is closed with a black bowtie. His flared breeches have a decorative black lace stripe down each outer seam. They are tucked into riding boots.

Unlike the PSP, this equipment set does not have the spare round loops above the holster.
