This Private wears the scarlet jacket and white sulu that remains the FDF’s ceremonial uniform.

The jacket has brass buttons and green shoulder straps.

The waist belt is from the 1908 webbing equipment set and has brass fittings and buckle. In later years a white leather version is worn with brass clasp.

He is armed with a SMLE rifle and bayonet.

Below is the jacket of a Bandsman, as noted by the wearing of the green aiguillette.

Instead of the webbing belt he wears a black leather version with brass clasp.

Officers continued to wear white drill jackets with their white helmets and blue trousers.
