This servicewoman wears the female version of battledress. Her headdress is a khaki beret, worn by the infantry in NZ. This has the Corps badge attached to the left front.
The jacket is the same pattern as worn by the men but with the opening side reversed. The Corps title is stitched to the top of the sleeves. Under the jacket is worn a lighter khaki shirt and necktie.
Instead of trousers (which could be worn) this soldier wears a skirt reaching just below the knees. Around the waist is a plain ’37 pattern webbing belt.
Stockings could be worn with the brown shoes.
