This senior NCO retains the pre-war blue cap with badge attached to the front of the band.
The blue uniform has been replaced with a white version. The jacket has gilt on red chevrons on both sleeves and a crimson sash is worn over the right shoulder. Both items denote his rank.
The black leather waist belt has a brass Tongan clasp.
He wears a drill lava-lava and sandals.
His rifle is a SMLE, with bayonet.
Below is an Officer’s jacket with open collar, white shirt and black necktie.
A Sam Browne belt is worn with supporting cross strap to support the sword and scabbard on the left hip.
