With the change to a Police Force the G&EI Force also adopted new uniforms. This Officer wears a blue peaked cap with patent leather peak and chinstrap. The Force badge is attached to the front of the band.
His drill jacket has rank stars attached to the shoulder straps. White metal buttons are used throughout.
A blue lanyard is worn around the left shoulder.
His black leather Sam Browne has white metal fittings.
He wears a blue sulu and brown leather sandals.
Below is a Constable's jacket, similar to the Officer's. A blue slip-on Force title is worn on the shoulder straps. Around the waist is a cummerbund under a black leather belt that has a clasp embossed with the Force badge and title.
